INSTRUCTIONS & CONTACT
In your cabin you will find very detailed instructions on everything you need to know during your stay. The instruction file (in English and Finnish) is waiting for you on the kitchen table.

You will most likely meet us both checking in and out. We are happy to give you all the information about the cottage on the spot. In case you are arriving late, there is a key box outside that opens with a code. We will always present the safety features of the cabin either in place or by phone at the check in. You will also find a binder in the cabin describing in details how all appliances work.

CLEANING
We take really, really good care of our cabins, and we hope that you will do the same when we have the pleasure to have you as our guest.

Final cleaning is always included in the rent. However, we do kindly ask you to put all furniture back on place, take the bed linen out of the beds and place them with towels on the entrance during the check out, and also take the trash out to the recycling point located at the yard. You can buy this as an additional service at a cost of 90 euros in Tieva Star and Tieva Moon and for 50 euros in Tieva Nest in case you need to check out in a hurry.

Bedlinen + towels are included in Easy Arrival Package and otherwise available for 15 € per person per stay. Please inform us in advance the need of the bedlinen and towels. (Some like to bring their own.)

RESTRICTIONS
Please note that pets and smoking are both strictly forbidden in our cabins.

SKI MAINTENANCE ROOM
The shared ski service room in TievaStar carport is for customers staying on TievaStar, TievaMoon or TievaNest. The separate Sauna building in TievaPeak offer also a ski service rack and iron for customers staying in TievaPeak and TievaMist.

TAP WATER
The tap water in our cabins is the freshest water you can find anywhere in the world - it is even more pure than the one on the bottle you bought from the airport - honestly!

THE AURORA BOREALIS
You can easily observe the Northern lights from your cabin yard – free of charge, whenever the mother nature is being generous. There are no street lights around our cabins.

SUDDEN (REINDEER) VISITORS
If you bump into reindeer, don’t worry, they are half-tame animals and more afraid of you than you are for them.

LOVE WARNING
It is highly possible you will fall in love with the surroundings – that happened to us too.

Our cabins have suberb location in Kilinätievantie and Järvitievantie (street names) – in Ylläs, and its quiet part Tieva, in Ylläsjärvi area.

• first quality flatland cross-country skiing tracks are within a step from your door

• winter & summer mountain biking trails + walking trails just around the corner

• some of the best restaurants in the area are waiting for you within 1 km from the cabin, eg. Otso, Aakenus Grill Restaurant & Kotaravintola Sarakka and Aurora Estate

• the nearest grocery store K-market Eeli is also within 1 km

• go 5 km up to the Ylläs fell and you find yourself at Ylläs Ski Resort with the best slalom skiing slopes with gondol. There you can also enjoy the spa and restaurants of the Hotel Saaga plus the night life of Taiga.

• in about 15 minutes you can drive to Äkäslompolo village with more shopping and restaurant options

• please take also the opportunity to visit Lainio Snow Village, 12 km from the cabin, an amazing experience

You can book via this website. During the high season (Christmas, New Year, weeks 8-16) the minimum stay is one week and we exchange customers on Saturdays only. Outside the high season you can book also a shorter accommodation and pick up freely your check- in and -out dates.

Payments and cancellation terms:

Deposit 30% of the total amount should be paid in 7 days by wire transfer right after the booking is made (the payment instructions will be emailed to you) the rest 70% of the total amount will become due 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the accommodation

You are able to cancel until 6 weeks prior to the accommodation, but with no refund of the the deposit. If you cancel less than 6 weeks prior your arrival, the full rental amount will be charged.
